Not every memorable wildlife photograph comes from dramatic action. Sometimes it's the shape, the light, and the feeling of a single moment. As I tracked this bald eagle in flight, it banked gracefully across the sky, its broad wings stretching from edge to edge while its head remained fixed on the world below. From this unusual perspective, the image became less about the eagle's iconic white head and more about the incredible design and purpose of a bird built for flight. Converting the photograph to black and white emphasized the sweeping lines of the wings, the subtle textures of the feathers, and the quiet intensity of a predator that never stops searching. A Watchful Eye celebrates the elegance of flight and the unwavering focus that defines one of North America's greatest hunters.
