Reaching Oneonta Falls is part of the adventure. I made my way up the narrow slot canyon, wading through the cold creek, climbing over fallen logs, and carefully navigating slick rocks where the canyon walls closed in around me. Every turn revealed another layer of emerald moss until, at the very end of the gorge, this breathtaking waterfall came into view. Towering walls draped in vibrant green surrounded the falls like the walls of a natural cathedral, creating one of the most extraordinary places I've ever photographed. Standing there, with the sound of rushing water echoing through the canyon, it felt like discovering a hidden world few ever experience. Emerald Cathedral captures that unforgettable journey—where the adventure to reach the destination becomes just as rewarding as the scene itself.
